Expovacaciones held its thirty-second edition, from 5 to 8 May 2011 in Bilbao Exhibition Centre was confirmed as one of the meetings business and leisure tourism in northern Spain.

ISO Standard for Active Tourism: ISO / TC 228/WG 7

Since early last year 2010 was created within the group of the ISO TC288 Tourism GW7 (Working Group 7) in order to initiate discussion to develop 3 new ISO Standards for Tourism Asset.

The 3 Rules in which they are working are:

- Security Management
Active Tourism - Competition of Active Tourism Staff
- to give customers information on Active Tourism

Content Standards, in general are:

1. SAFETY MANAGEMENT IN ACTIVE TOURISM PLANNING

• : Hazard identification and evaluation risk and control, legal requirements and other requirements, objectives and targets, safety management programs
• IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION: Resources, structure and accountability, competence, awareness and education, consultation and communication, documentation , Document control, operational control, emergency preparedness and assistance.
• CHECKING AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Monitoring and measurement of results, accidents, incidents, nonconformities and corrective and preventive actions, records, internal audit.

2. COMPETENCE OF STAFF IN ACTIVE TOURISM:

• This proposal details the minimum skills required of professionals active tourism. It also details the expected outcomes of their work, linked to the management of client groups and security. Finally we develop a paragraph on the maintenance, recycling training guías-monitores/as Active Tourism.

3. TOURISM INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS IN ACTIVE

• detailed information is more important, to be collected and given to the participants from the tourism point of view and especially from the point of view of safety. Includes a page with this possible information.
