Organized by the University Oviedo in collaboration with the Valdés Salas, its objective is to stimulate debate on economic and social importance that represents the Active and Adventure Tourism for sustainable and balanced development of Asturias.

In this direction they were moving in response to some of the following questions: How

• has developed this type of tourism in the world?
• What was the impact on the territories where it has funded?
• What benefits can bring to rural areas east and west of the region?
• What problems affect their growth in Asturias?

To study these issues will Asturian entrepreneurs who have been pioneers in this sector and experts recognized for their expertise and research in tourism activities.
